Calaverna is a Grechetto blend. A wine that exalts the most popular and enigmatic Umbrian white grape varieties, but shaped in an unusual environment.
Straight lines and lagged tears, short circuits and linear visions in a juxtaposition of dichotomies that delve deep into the pulp.

SOIL: generally sandy, alluvial, rich in stone and potassium. Above 300 metres.
GRAPES: primarily grechetto.
WINEMAKING/REFINEMENT PROCESS: fermentation in steel vats for 15-20 days followed by frequent stirring on its own fine lees. No or only partial malolactic fermentation, depending on the vintage. Aged in steel tanks and bottles.
